How to choose
Mahjong games here are tile-matching puzzles: you find free pairs and clear the board. They are not the four-player table game. Solitaire games use cards, and Klondike, Spider and TriPeaks each play differently, so try a round of each to find your favourite.
Both suit a calm break. There is usually no rush, so take your time looking for your next move. If you get stuck, starting a fresh board is often quicker than searching for the last pair.

Is this mahjong the same as the four-player game?
No. These are single-player tile-matching games, often called mahjong solitaire. You remove matching tiles rather than build winning hands.
Which solitaire should I try first?
Klondike is the classic version most people know. Spider takes longer, and TriPeaks is the quickest to pick up.
